Projects

UrbanBuzz, a unique and innovative UCL-led knowledge exchange programme, has converted research findings into useful tools and processes to help practitioners and other stakeholders create more sustainable communities.

It has funded a portfolio of 27 projects which include topics relating to:

• Impact of climate change on the Mayor of London?s transportation strategy
• Spatial mapping techniques relating to anti-social behaviour and designing out crime
• Energy-use reduction through refurbishing London?s Victorian housing stock
• Urban agriculture and Thames Gateway stakeholder governance/management
• Understanding cultural demographics and how to design for the shifting populace
